How much does it cost to register my pet?
Lifetime registration is $24.99 one time, per pet. There are no renewals or yearly fees, and updates are always free. You can also add Pawbase Premium for $14.99 one time, which covers every pet on your account, or a Pawbase collar tag for $19.99 with free shipping. Both are optional.

Do I need a Pawbase microchip to register my pet?
No. Pawbase works with any standard 9, 10, or 15-digit microchip, no matter who implanted it or which brand it is. You can register your pet's existing microchip directly through Pawbase.
What if my pet's microchip is already registered somewhere else?
You can still register with Pawbase. Your pet will be searchable through Pawbase and the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup. If your pet is listed with more than one registry, keep your contact information updated in each one.
Can I update my information if I move or get a new phone number?
Yes. You can update your information any time from the Pawbase app or web dashboard, and it is always free. It takes seconds, and the change applies to every pet on your account.
What happens when someone finds my pet?
A vet, shelter, or finder can search your pet’s microchip number on Pawbase or find Pawbase through the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup. They can also scan your pet’s collar tag with any phone camera. Either way, they see how to reach you directly. If you prefer to keep your details private, Pawbase will help coordinate the return.
